4th of July in Boston
I woke up early to hear the Declaration of Independence read at historic Fenual Hall with English Sarah Mortimer whose head stole the focus of this picture. |
I was going to stand up and shout, "She's British! Burn her!" But the post 9-11 crowd control was in effect. |

These poor people had to play in those ridiculous uniforms in 100 degree heat. |
Later, I met up with a bunch of dorm friends on the esplanade in front of the Hatch Shell to stake out a space for the upcoming Boston Pops concert. |
We got lunch first. |
Emily's friend, Emily, and Kevin. |

Us waiting in the shade near the porta-potties. |
This is Tom, who I later saw a lot while juggling with Kathy. |
Barry Manilow sang, and we joined him. |
After the Pops and the fireworks, we went to Antonio's Latin celebration of American independence. Here Kristin and I show them what America's all about. |
