Before going off to Italy, I rented a car at Rent-A-Wreck both to move stuff to her place and to go camping on Smarts mountain in New Hampshire.

The mosquitoes were ridiculous, so we pretty much ran to the top...

...barely before it got dark.

Sleeping in the tent was fun.  You can see my Rent-A-Wreck key chain in the background.

After a good night's rest on the tent floor.

In the morning, we putzed around trying to start a fire.

Kendra was very serious about her fire-starting ability.

And in the end, her persistence paid off.

That morning, we got one nice view of the mountain before having to run back down and return the rental car before 5pm.  We made it back five minutes early.
