Maribeth -- Jason Gallicchio

Maribeth's Life

Maribeth is someone whom I've followed through high school, through an undergrad degree at the University of Illinois, and quite possibly a Ph.D. at Caltech.  This page is dedicated to her wonderfully exciting world.

She and Richard were wonderfully kind to me and let me crash at their place for a few nights. This is, unfortunately, the only picture I have of Richard.

They were so great, they let me put a picture of their kitchen on the internet.

One of the adventures I was lucky enough to tag along on was their trip to this eating and drinking establishment, upon invitation due to their involvement in the Caltech Quiz Bowl Team.

These guys take sports bar quiz games to a whole new level. The guy in the front has six boxes!

Notice how few Maribeth has. Four years of Benet down the drain.

After the rigorous mental workout, some N64 was in order.  Ah, the life of a grad student.  My impressions of LA?  For better or worse, LA is defiantly the center for American pop culture. I highly doubt this is true, but someone told me that 10% of the people live in the greater Los Angeles area. I fully expect the events and moods of the Los Angelinos during the time I was there to appear in the next round of top 40 hits and movie blockbusters.  There was also an amazingly disproportionate number of dorky guys hanging out with the most amazingly beautiful women.  A week later I walked into an upscale Silicon Valley pub with  Susan, John, and Greg where there were only two women (sitting alone together) among 75 well-off guys.

Maribeth purchased these shoes off the internet after having seen only a single picture.  For some reason at 2am I thought it would be ironic to put a picture of them on the internet, but now I realize this is just dumb.
