Swing Life
| Greg and Ted decided to go to a one-night swing event at a place called Swing Central in Redwood City. There they ran into Laura, who Greg knew from last summer when his Intel friend Christa stayed at Laura's house. |

| Laura and Christa are friends from USC, and the next week when we went to LA, Christa had yet another friend visiting who turned out to be Laura. When Laura learned we were interested in swing, she got us involved with a million things, including some informal swing lessons she was putting on for some of her friends. |

| One of the cooler events that Laura invited me to was a live performance by Indigo Swing in downtown San Francisco. Here I met Sarah, who, like Laura, was a math teaching assistant over the summer. Her birthday is the day after mine, along with such notables as my friend Cynthia from high school, and Dave Morgan who helped get me the job at SGI. |
