This guy is running for state senate.  He used to be the mayor of Cambridge.

His name is similar to mine.

His signs are everywhere.

These were just a few on my walk to Harvard from the apartment.

People ask if were related.

Needless to say, we're not.

But that doesn't seem to stop people from pronouncing my name with the 'u' sound around here.

Of course this is the sign that hung outside of my apartment.  According to the web, "Rep. Barrios won the seat with 48 percent of the vote, or 11,521 votes. Anthony Galluccio received 32 percent of the vote, or 7,675 votes. Carlo DeMaria received 20 percent of the vote, or 4,747 votes."
