Friday, August 31st was both the day I moved to Harvard and the day the last Mr. Rogers show aired.  The end of one era, and the beginning of another. On the plane I sat next to the person who runs the Detroit public mental institution.

The day before classes started, we were informed during our physics department orientation about the events unfolding that day, Sept 11 -- not the best beginning to a graduate career.

My spacious dorm room.  Cool eh?

Yup.  All of the prospective students in my room during the Physics Open House.

While my computer is checking e-mail and playing MP3s, I think I'm actually reading my Quantum Field Theory notes!

Matt's room, the social center of the floor and the gathering place of our particular form of grass roots intellectualism known as Thursday Night Beers.  (That's my will in case I died skiing.)

Baking cookies with Kendra.

We used all of the approved Consumer Reports, scientifically determined best methods for cookie baking.

Kendra not using a Mac.

Michelle and Mike in our new offices.

Sorry guys, but Iva's MARRIED!

Field Theory lectures from the famous Sidney Coleman.  See how intense Greg looks?

Dudley House Cafeteria.

Dudley food doesn't always cut it.  Here we loaded up my poor bike for the journey home from everyone's favorite supermarket.

This is what it looks like after I spend a semester at Harvard and visit my high school with my sister.
