Mother's Day Bridge

On Mother's Day, Boston opened its half-completed new bridge for pedestrians for the first and only time.  Even though it was raining, there was about an hour wait.

I went with Kendra to check it out.

It has two towers from which the bridge is suspended.

Here I am going against the crowd.

You can see the bridge's blue lights from all over the city at night.

Toward the end, you could see the construction still in progress.

After crossing the bridge, we competed to find a table at a sports bar with the crowd coming coming out of the Fleet Center after a Celtics game.
