A Sample Page

Here's a two-page spread from Chapter 14 ("Low-Power Design"), to give an idea of the mix of text, diagrams, and graphs in the book. With over a thousand figures, the book averages about one circuit diagram per page. It also averages five tables per chapter; the largest of these (Table 4.1: Operational Amplifiers) fills 12 pages with extensive data on more than 200 op-amps.

In order to keep this gif-file small, we downsampled the scanned image, then clipped it to 1-bit; the result isn't exactly pretty, but you get the idea. (If you want to see the page in better detail, click here (warning: the file is 900K). The book itself is a high quality typeset production from Cambridge University Press, whose impressive letterhead proclaims that "The right of the University of Cambridge to print and sell all manner of books was granted by Henry VIII in Royal Letters Patent of 20 July 1534."
